Municipal Port Fund of Eastern Mani Responsibilities

The purpose of the Municipal Port Fund is the organization and operation of ports.

The Municipal Port Fund of East Mani is a Legal Entity under Public Law based in Gytheio and has responsibilities in the area of ​​the Municipality of East Mani.

The Municipal Port Fund works towards the organization and the function of the port of Gytheio offering modern facilities in order to respond to any expectation.

To achieve these goals, the Municipal Port Fund of East Mani, cares for the  maintenance  and the  improvement of  the existing port infrastructure and ensures the construction of new infrastructure where necessary.

It also cares for the equipment of the Port and for any activity related to port work in its area of ​​responsibility.

It provides services related to the mooring of ships and the movement of passengers, vehicles and cargo.

Finally, it is responsible for the installation, organization and operation of any type of port infrastructure.

It is governed by a seven-member Board of Directors with a fixed term.
